You can't come in without the trans. No cars allowed on the hill to the Getty. As to them closing at 5pm. Is correct open at 10am and fully closed on Monday's. And you MUST have a reservation as that's how they operate, control the amount on guest st the museum and with covid they are lots of rules to follow. But all worth visiting, just make sure to bring snacks as to the foods they sell off the cart n locations are expensive duck as $4 for a can of coke, $4 for a slice of cake $2 for a banana and even $18 for a med size green m chicken salad
