Planning my 2 great nephews first fishing trip and want it to be Lake Gregory. Considering either May 25th or June 1st. Any advice and is the water slide area open then? While they are only 3 & 4 I've been teaching them to cast and they are ready

The lake is open to fishing year round you just need to make sure that you have a valid fishing license. The beach area opens I believe may 25 or 26

You can fish the lake anytime, the water park and slide opens May 25 till September 2.
