I was out of town when my dog was taken by a frien who had a arrest warrant out of state. My dog went to the pound I came home to find this out. My dof got shipped to SeeSeatttale and then told me I have tohave pond. I come home to find this out.

It can be very upsetting to retun home and find out a care taker did not provide for an animal correctly. All animals that come into Yakima Humane Society with owner information (tags, microchip and/or paperwork) are held for 5 days while every attempt is made to reach said owner. In the event that a pet is not redemped by their owner after 5 days the animal is then placed up for adoption or transfer to an alternet rescue for adoption.

Ask pet rescue. They transport animals to Seattle. Maybe they would have an idea where animals are taken
