A stray cat recently started coming around our house and we give him scraps of food here and there but we can't afford keep him, can we take him to this shelter? He's very nice and doesn't hiss/lash out.

Yes you can take stay dogs and cats to the Yakima Humane Society. Please be aware of the business hours. Open 12-6pm everyday but Wednesday. YHS is closed Wednesdays and Holidays.

Yes and I do believe it's a no kill shelter. If not I know that the one in Ellensburg is. It's a way to go, but at least you know they won't put it down. . Poor baby!!!! And it's so cold now. .Good luck
