The puppies are mainly in foster homes. My baby rescued me she was 6mo at the time & at the shelter. The staff is great. My shepherd is the love of my life. Remember one thing they need alot of exercise. They are extremely smart & with training the skies the limit
This shelter has all older dogs that have been rescued . I wouldnt Recommend it for a puppy but if you're intrested in a older dog they have over 100 German shepherds
You fill out an application on their website and they will call you if you're a good match. Puppies require a lot of individual attention and training, so they will prefer that you are home more often. After the call, if you are approved, you can visit the shelter or foster for a puppy. Younger puppies are in foster homes but ones that are a little older may be found at the shelter. A puppy is over a decade of commitment, so make sure you're certain before you get one. Although pups can be returned to WGSR if things do not work out, it is in the best interest of the dog that it stays with one loving family.
