Most income based apartments are easy to figure out the cost. 30% of annual-$480 per qualifying child-utility allowance ($58 2bdrm, $63 3bdrm) So a 1k monthly income with no children for a 2bdrm would be 1000*12=12,000*.3=3,600÷12=$300-58=$242. This is a general formula and not meant to be exact. :) hope it helps.
I know someone who make $800 a month + food stamps and she pays $130 ish a month. I would guess you would pay between $200-$500.
