In reg. to Terry Green; Rays in Merlin has not discontinued thier can & bottle return machines. I do agree the bottle drop is a nice facility. It's nice that they offer have washing station recycling for the boxes and bags and a place to potty. Along with several other amenities. Also the little pantry in Merlin, if you have your cans rinsed counted and in a clear bag they will take them as well. Just don't bring them a ridiculous amount, of course. Rays accepts cans in there machines until 9

Ray's still has returns in Merlin. As a matter of fact they just installed new machines only last month
Rays still has the machines. They break often but take a chance instead of driving further. further
Its probably open only during business hours
The machines have been discontinued I believe in southern Oregon in favor of the new bottle drop facilities. If you haven't had the opportunity to try the facility out, it's definitely worth it.
