Several years ago I purchased the thumb drive with all the Woodenboat magazines to date. I just noticed that #220 with a computer date of May 31 2011 causes all three of my iPads to crash but work in my three computers. Has that ever been mentioned?

Odds are you are not viewing in ACROBAT. If you get the Adobe Acrobat App for your iPad, I'll bet it cures the problem. -Scot

Probably not. It may be a problem with your specific thumb drive or the specific issue or with the iPad software. Since you say the iPads just quit on that one file I would bet on a combination of something in the file along with a bug in the iPad software. It's a nuisance but you know how to work around it -- don't try to access that issue on the iPad.
