The atmosphere here is great! Loved browsing the bookshelves as well as all the cute little items they have scattered throughout their store. Was very impressed by the amount of art books they have as well.

What more can I say about this place that others already know! This place brings the charm of Japan and has a large variety of everything one may look for. A safe haven for those who enjoy manga and anime, has become more popular thru the pandemic and can feel a bit claustrophobic from how packed it can get. This place is a must stop in Little Tokyo and it’s one place I frequent go to on my off days to relax. See you there
Hyper Nova
Very lovely place for people who enjoy Japanese Literature, whether it be manga or historical writings. And of course they Rising of The Shield Hero!

Have been coming to this bookstore for years. Variety of products. Fun to explore. Clean. Manga heaven for those who enjoy them.

Yes they do! Tho I must warn you they have skipped volumes, you might run into instances of them having the first two volumes and then jumping right onto four and five. They can assist you at the front counter to search the back or have it ordered for you. I hope this helps
The typical price usually sits at $10 and above from the series I checked out! It just depends on which series you plan on purchasing. I hope this helped!
You can check their availability status through their online store. You also have the option for delivery or pick-up.
Yes
Call and ask
I believe if it's a service dog, it's ok. but if it's just regular pet dog, it won't be allow in.
A bit hard to find on the shelves but it costs $14 last time I checked. Manga is good but the artstyle can throw you off a bit. It has a bit more detail than the anime, for sure.
No they don’t they haven’t even translated it yet it will still be in Japanese so it’s best to wait patiently
They did the last time I was there, two weeks ago
If it's like the market downstairs, got to buy something for validation. Minimum for an hour at the market is 25 not sure about kinokuniya. There's a bunch of parking meters if you're lucky.
No. They don't have any figures. Only manga.
They restock every 2 weeks but its wise to check right away
Prices for each manga go for 12$ ro 15$ but its wise to get a membership as they take away 2$ off the book save a little more
can l sell my manga to your store?
I believe 7 pm closing is their Covid hours. Normally they were open until 9 before the pandemic.
Stock comes in and out, but last time I was there (January 4th), it looked like they had every volume. Not sure if they had the special edition of 10 though.
They usually don't carry entire booksets as a bundle. They might have Ouran, but it's a bit of an older series so it's hard to say. If you can't find it there, Bookoff in Gardena would be a good alternative, and they're likely have the whole bundle.
Yes they do! I've seen my hero, and I'm sure they also have deathnote
Yeah you can
They should have them if they don't you can ask them to place an order for you
You might want to try their online catalog or call the store. They have a HUGE selection but you might want to call for specific items.
Yes, you can shop inside.
Yes they sell both the Japanese and English versions.
Yes but for pick up only
They have I am a hero
They have manga for all tastes even bad ones
I don't think so.
They should have them since they're very popular. If not then down the street heading towards the Starbucks you face to your left and cross the street. There is a store called jungle which most definitely has it
