Our trip to coastal Maine was in mid-June last year. It was not yet prime lobster season, so the prices were higher, but it was still available. I think we chose the perfect time because the weather was beautiful, everything was open, and crowds hadn't begun yet, even if we paid a little more for the lobster rolls. Also, Red's was the best lobster roll we had among many we tried and the wait was more than worth it.
Thank u all so much 😊
If you want fresh lobstah not frozen go somewhere else. Off the boats is theee best and not so expensive like these guys.. plus you dont have to wait forever to get it! Just sayin -True maineah
Best time to take the trip out of state to Maine and Red's Eats is summer and fall.
Lobsters are caught year round but most abundant and best prices mid summer to early fall. Best time to take a trip depends on what else you want to do, but if just for the lobster any warm weather month should be fine.
