Originally "Anything " thats antique has been considered 100 + years old .Vintage gets thrown around alot and sounds old but it could be used for the piece that grandma bought you last week . Good luck & buyer bewarre. Park St. Antiques is a good place to shop weather your the novice dealer or top collector. ENJOY !
Something to keep in mind-Old does not automatically translate to value and something from the 70s can be worth more than something from the 20s. If you aren't sure what you have get an appraisal.
I believe at this point in time they label 60's,70's and 80's as vintage. Anything older than that they classified as an antique. I'm not an antique "Pro", but I am basing this comment on what I have seen at various antique stores and antique malls. Park Street has a great selection for every taste and style. I believe they also hold monthly auctions. Also if you have something to sell they have advised me that on Saturdays and Sundays most of the vendors are there and the vendors maybe interested in purchasing items.
