Yes, it is very accomodating to new shooters. I even went through the class with my 16 year old daughter. She was treated with individual attention and respect by the instructor. The fee goes to the State of Florida when you apply for a Concealed Weapons Permit.
Totally new-shooter friendly. i just took the course myself. Just go in and they explain the whole process to you and they are very respectful of new gun enthusiasts.
Great! Thanks!
Have been to many shooting ranges over the years, & have observed some concealed classes taking place that appear extremely chaotic (more shooters than students), & rushed. Certainly not conducive for focus, & the possibility of unneeded anxiety/stress for a new shooter (i.e.ShootStraight) goes up. That being said, Ted’s is the very finest in the business. I took my concealed carry class there several years ago. With the help of family, or friends new shooters will most likely have some range experience before taking the course. In my opinion, the classroom is the most important aspect of the coursework. Concealed carry is arguably the largest privilege afforded us. Nobody teaches the responsibilities that comes with that better than Jimbo, or any of their highly experienced, thorough, & patient associates.
