Great place to shoot and good prices on guns and pistols. Staff are very polite and helpful. Tried other ranges and Teds is my favorite. Offer classes with knowledgable instructors. Also well stocked on shooters needs.

Walked around the shop, No one even offered to assist. Stood at the counter directly in front of an employee. He continued placing ammo on the counter. As I turned to leave he says "are you going to shoot or what"! I will take my business elsewhere. Thanks.

Great experience at Ted's. The staff was very helpful even with all the nonsense covid rules the experience was smooth. Very good selection of firearms ammunition and accessories. The gun range was clean and comfortable. I will definitely go there more times.

The entire experience at Ted's Firearms is friendly and welcoming. I took the Firearms Safety course required to apply for a Concealed Weapons Permit from the State of Florida with my 16 Year old Daughter. (Obviously she will not be able to apply for a CCL for some time, but I now know that she has had qualified training on how to handle a gun, if she is ever in the need to use one). Our father daughter experience in a small class of eight people was very pleasant. Jim, our NRA certified instructor, managed to keep most of the class light and fun. He was correct to point out that there were more ladies in the class than there were men and all the ladies seemed to be quite pleased with the atmosphere of the class. Safety is the primary goal and even I learned some new information that I did not know (which does not mean I am an expert by any means but I fired my first handgun some 40+ years ago). The key as in all learning is to listen and to keep an open mind to experiencing new things, if you do that, the class will be fun and informative. (It did not hurt at all that my grouping on the range at the end of class was AWESOME, and my daughter's was very respectable for shooting her first time. I felt completely comfortable with Jim at her side, showing her the safe way to fire a weapon in a controlled environment. Take this class - even if you might not apply for your CCL it could save your life.

Yes, it is very accomodating to new shooters. I even went through the class with my 16 year old daughter. She was treated with individual attention and respect by the instructor. The fee goes to the State of Florida when you apply for a Concealed Weapons Permit.
Not sure if there is a package for 2 trips, but I know they have a deal that if you purchase 2 boxes of 50 ammo then they reduce range fee from $15 to $5.

It cost $15 for an hour unless you by 2 boxes of ammo to use at the range. I shoot 9mm so if I new ammo the total cost is under $34, but if I use reman ammo then the cost $30.59.
Sorry we do not allow shotguns. The best place for that is an outdoor range, Manatee Archery and Gun Club.

Just guessing, but I don't think they sell Laser beams or Moon beams, they're to hard to catch.
It is up to the owner of the business to approve any customer use of a range but there are no laws prohibiting use of the range for you.

The best answer is call them and ask both questions. I know people can share a lane but only one person can shoot at a time. I am not sure if they rent firearms.

Highly doubt it. With all due respect why would you feed a costly firearm the very cheapest, barrel destructive ammo money can buy? Steel is even more worthless, & dangerous (could blow up) if using low budget firearm’s like Hi Point, Cobra, etc.

No i don't believe they do. They can order you anything you like or their transfer fee is only $25 if you want to order online and use them as your FFL.
