Plase call their office. DMV might need to revise the vehicle to verified it meets road standards and up to code. AAA might not have the ability to revise certain procedures. Hope that helps.
AAA can do it if state registrations, but there are limitations. I'd recommend stopping by your local auto club and they will do as much as they can for you. If needed they'll send you to the DMV to finish it.
