Hi from what I understand section 8 and public housing are not based on emergencies or situations they're based off application dates and preferences...ask the last case worker for assistance...
My section 8 is get terminated because they have sent paper that was supposed be complete by October 13 but didn’t receive the until November 16,2021 but not only that it’s another paper that came that same with the other paper saying they will be paying next rent and they would be sending the paper to manager to but got both same day one saying they need bank statements I don’t even I have a bank account and not only that when the paper was sent out my advisor was on vacation in September and came in sometime October now can someone tell me what happened here
I have been on the wait list since 2007 and am disabled on a fixed income.
If you are denied section 8 because you make too much money, downsize for less because the only way you can get help is if you have children. Section 8 does not care if you are homeless. Find other ways!
