I think the young people that work here is great. They always work hard in a substandard work environment, the owner needs to quit being so cheap and remodel this store it's rediculous the way it's configred. With one ice cream machine and mixing station for all of them to use it's a wonder anything is ever made. The disgusting floor in the kitchen is the worst it needs ripped out badly and the owner should be ashamed to even allow that nasty grime. The health department should force them to do it as well.
I believe the service issues are process related. Ownership needs to monitor the current processes and make changes to better serve the customer's. I watched very closely for about 10 minutes the young staff walking in circles to complete simple tasks. Food is still great and staff is friendly.
The staff does a good job. Still below "acceptable" if you compare to other major chains.

They work hard. But the standards are below par. Seems like they are short staffed. I will never eat their again.

The staff is almost always pleasant and helpful. Service remains slower than other local fast food restaurants. But the food is hot when it is served.
The service is always good. The young high school looking staff are always very pleasant, despite being busy and stressed to the “T”. I was unaware this location was privately owned. Makes sense, many franchise owners of major corporate name restaurants tend to be sub par or near perfect, there’s no between. Sadly, this one is a sub par. I even went as far as emailing corporate but no response. Had it been a McDonald’s it would have been remedied immediately. That sets the stage between the two. Long story short, the food is good, the staff is kind, but if you don’t have 30-45 minutes to wait at the counter or drive thru, don’t ponder the idea!
Last few times i have been here i have had great service!
