I see trailers, campers, and parked cars almost every night... out on the edges of the parking lot. Short stays/ stops seem to be the norm, though...

No camping is allowed in any of the Wal-Mart parking lots, no matter what city you're in. Unless you want a member of management, security or the police to escort you of the property.

Definitely go to Rogue River rest stop. No one will hassle you there.

I dont see anyone camping there at night recently like it used to be but across the street at winco I have see people camping there are rest stops close by. South of GP only a few miles is the Rogue river rest stop and north maybe 10 miles or so is a rest stop
