Yes...for the most part. They do only if it absolutely medically necessary and if the animal can't pass an assessment or if the animal is overly aggressive and they can't work with it. (It's not adoptable ) But they try really hard to get it adoptable first.

What I know for sure is that this shelter euthanizes thousands of kittens and cats every year, whether they are adoptable or not!! Also, they have had a very bad cat virus at their animal shelter for years where they keep the cats. If any cat or kitten catches the virus, and allot of them do because it's very contagious, instead of treating them, they euthanize them! Most people think this is a place where cats are really cared for, until you find out what really goes on behind those closed doors where only staff are allowed in! I saved four kittens from this place about 6 years ago but they wanted $100 per kitten. I didn't have that much money so I called the State and they got the kittens out of there for me, thank God!!
