We live in America, so, liability insurance claims tend to determine the scope of almost anything involving large animals with personalities of their own, so, mainly just a trail ride thing, all that said, (and I'm a former trainer of show horses) my afternoon with these folk and these magnificent animals was one of my facourite things about my trip to L.A., I recommend it highly, there's more to horseback riding than a good sweaty cantor, the scenery is majestic, especially in the latter part of the day, I did a 6:00pm when it was cooler, take the 90 vs the 60 minute tour BTW, Watching the pacific ocean emerge on the west as you ascend that ridge about halfway is movie quality memory material. You'll thank me later, promise...
I would recommend a walk 🚶♂️
It’s just riding.
In the regular group tour you just walk. If you book a private/small group ride with the instructor then you can trot/go a little faster.
Just walking unless you book a private ride.
We just walked. It could have been because the two riders who showed up late were extremely inexperienced
