If you buy a brand new wrx make sure that you get all weather tires.
Chains are not recommend on Subaru’s because of the symmetrical all wheel drive system. We as a dealer sell AutoSocks for the customer's vehicle to eliminate that request. They are easy to install and are safe for Subaru vehicles.
