What exactly is the sobering unit, do you stay in a room until you can get into the detox program? And is their an appointment needed to get into the sobering unit?

Hi Cindy, we just moved into a new facility and have upgraded our sobering/diversion units. The units are a safe and comfortable space for individuals to stabilize from acute intoxication or withdrawal. The mats are close to the ground for safety purposes and are now separated by privacy walls. It's not the Ritz, but we offer laundry and meal service, monitor vitals, and help people enter into Detox or another appropriate level of care.
