Ive misplaced my gift card but i have the reciept they gave me when i was issued the gift card can i use the reciept to purchase merchandise in store or online?

Don't think so! Unless the ID numbers are on that receipt. Good luck.Ross employees can be somewhat RUDE when trying to explain and locate. So I wish you luck.
