We played there last year for district cup, since we were playing we did not have to pay but all the spectators had to pay an entrance fee.
California Soccer Park is operated by a private non-profit. Some events are pay to play, like open drop-in on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesday and Fridays at 10am. If you have paid to be in a league, it is usually free to enter as a player. 12 and under are free to spectate, 13 and up pay a minimum $3 gate fee to spectate, special events are more. There is never a time when you can just show up and play for free. Check out all the events and updates at facebook.com/Californiasoccerpark.
