Great place, great local, had no problem w heating or air co.
We had a great experience staying at Emery's cottages. They are exceptionally CLEAN! The house keepers do a fantastic job. We were always so happy to come back from a long day of hiking and exploring to a clean and tidy cabin. Also, it is an ideal location for a great price. Our one and only complaint is that the cabins become stifling hot during the day. Theres no AC, just window fans. The fans were perfect to cool it off at night but brought little relief during the day. The cottage is like an oven during thr afternoon. It's all fine when out exploring all day but we got sick half way through our week stay and therefore spent a couple of down days in the cabin which was miserably hot. We finally just drove to the beach to escape the cabin. But with a toddler and an infant it would have been really nice to have a cool cabin.
Love Emery's Cottages and the owners are fantastic, so helpful finding things to do and great places to eat.
