I believe so. Make sure to go when they are open so you can sign the cat over to them and give them some background on it so they can find it a new home.

We take in owner surrender animals from residents of Rohnert Park and the City limits of Cotati by appointment. This assures that every animal we take in can get the best care and best possible outcome. We definitely encourage owners to do their best to place their animals themselves so they feel confident that the placement is appropriate and it bypasses the stress on the animal of having to be caged during the wait for a home. Placing with someone the animal is already familiar with is also a benefit. And although moves may be stressful it is nothing compared to permanently losing his home, family and routine - so don't necessarily discount taking the animal with you! If you are in our jurisdiction, please call first to schedule an appointment - 584-1582. Good luck!
