I believe only certain sizes and no alcohol
I recall there is a size limitation for the grandstand area, and as with anything you bring into the track, it's subject to search (for prohibited items).

Never had a problem bringing a cooler. And yes, we bring a few beers.
We had small canvass coolers we brought and had no problems. They search everything at the entrance for alcohol. You'll want plenty of water and gatorade. I suggest some sort of seat pad and a wide brimmed hat also.
You can only have a cooler bag as you'd get in stores to take cold items home. Hope it helps
