Yes, in my experience it's not an issue. I believe it depends upon the band you're seeing
Typically they are allowed as long as they don't have the detachable lenses. It's always a good idea to double check with the venue though
I think depends on the event rules too, but most of the bands I've seen at the observatory allow camera
I have never been to a show there that did not allow cameras.
