Well if you lap swim that must mean you're an intermediate or Advanced swimmer and know how not to drowned. Or are you talking about how fast you do laps yes? They should have a slow lane for people that swim laps slower than other people in the pool. Lap swimming they have different lanes for different speeds and swimmers styles so that you don't bump into each other or run into each other in the pool.
I don't think you have to be a certain age to able to attend but you have to be able to swim
