You would have to call them or take her in so they can check her for a chip. If she has a chip they will have to contact the owner, if there is no chip you have to pay some fees for adoption, licensing and shots at the least.

Yolanda she can have it checked for a chip and let shelter know she has him if someone is looking. Thank God she is willing to provide a home instead of have to leave it there. Pitbulls are the #1 killed dogs in shelters....
Not because they follow you home means that they are yours.? It might belong to someone turn it in to a shelter.the owner may be looking for them.
