Anyone can come to planet fitness. Plenty of activities for all.
I've seen plenty of seniors at the gym, depending on membership level I think you can get some one on one with a trainer. You would just need to schedule some time or see when one is there if you're concerned with the level and types of activity best for you
One on one trainers explain equipment and any training or exersize needs each individual requires. There are other exersizes or classes to learn like aerobics that can be fun for all ages. Make sure you ask about all they offer before joining.
