The HeBrews Cafe sells coffee, pastries, and other assorted beverages each weekend. 100% of the profits go to fund clean water projects throughout the world. In the past 18 months, we have provided over $42,000 to water projects in India, Rwanda, Haiti, and other regions. All of these water projects tie to missions initiatives that bring the hope of Christ - actual Living Water - to all people. The money changers and the sellers of doves at the Temple, on the other hand, were exorbitantly profiting only themselves and were actually creating a barrier of entry to people who had come to pray and worship. Oh... and we do offer free coffee and tea. We like to think of all of that as hospitality and a cup of comfort to people as they journey to explore Jesus' claims about himself.
All the money made from the coffee goes to missions.
They have free coffee and decaf available. Its not at the espresso stand.
There is free drip coffee. The coffee shop sells specialty drinks and snacks, and Joy is correct. All proceeds go to clean water initiatives around the world. 😊
