This is our second time attending Lake City church and we have absolutely loved it! We were originally planning on checking out several churches but after we visited the first time we both agreed that THIS church is absolutely 💯.

Commencement ceremony for Union Gospel Mission....a beautiful opportunity to see The Lord Jesus Christ have His Way in the hearts of men and women....turning messes into messages.....to The Glory of God

This church is amazing they accept everyone just as they are. There is no judgment from anyone there , and they make you feel like your at home. They have a great bunch of people who volunteer there that are kind and willing to help with whatever you need . Plus the main pastor pastor Mike is wonderful he shows his love for everyone threw Jesus and his words . He is an amazing pastor and I thank him for guiding me on my walk with finding out who Jesus is and how much Jesus loves me .

There is plenty of parking outside and greeters that give a big smile and a handshake when you come in. The sermons here are wonderful as they can reach and speak to a new believer as well as an old-timer in the faith. The worship service was wonderful! We went to the info desk afterward and the lady behind that desk answered all our questions and offered us resources for everything we had questions about. They have a free coffee bar and a specialty coffee bar. There is lots of seating around both coffee bars. They have good size bathrooms with lots of stalls. On the other side of the room by the information and connection desks is a fireplace and couches for comfortable chats.

The HeBrews Cafe sells coffee, pastries, and other assorted beverages each weekend. 100% of the profits go to fund clean water projects throughout the world. In the past 18 months, we have provided over $42,000 to water projects in India, Rwanda, Haiti, and other regions. All of these water projects tie to missions initiatives that bring the hope of Christ - actual Living Water - to all people. The money changers and the sellers of doves at the Temple, on the other hand, were exorbitantly profiting only themselves and were actually creating a barrier of entry to people who had come to pray and worship. Oh... and we do offer free coffee and tea. We like to think of all of that as hospitality and a cup of comfort to people as they journey to explore Jesus' claims about himself.
I'm distraught over how trump is behaving, especially to babies and children at the border and know the evangelical church supports him. So I'll not attend your church. But thank you for your honest reply. I pray our nation will be one again.
