Was displeased with food was needing eggs and meat and told come later we give it then how are we to eat if we have no meat and eggs?

We are sorry that it worked out that you weren't able to get meat and eggs. We dont always get meat and eggs as donations. Sometimes we have enough for everyone and sometimes we dont and have to do our best to be fair. This last week when we had very little meat and eggs we were saving those items to put out closer to the end in part because we could not ensure everyone would get those items and in part to encourage people to come later. Many people line up before we open and it creates unsafe conditions. We are struggling to find ways to encourage people to come after 12pm and see they can get the same good food. We may not have had eggs and meat right when we opened but there was milk, abundant fresh produce and a lot of dried and canned goods. That isn't really a question but their is a place in Auburn that gives meat and eggs I believe
