When I had no where to go that was safe for me the amazing Staff At St Martin's gave me a place to stay that was clean and warm. They fed me so much I got fat. There are always goodies on the counter and fresh coffee in the pot. The meals always stuffed me beyond measure. The staff are reasonable and the rules are a very small price to pay for free lodging and meals. This facility is privately funded, they do not get paid per bed that is filled and they do not have a huge budget. They survive off from the donations of others and offer a judgement free zone. May God bless this facility and its staff for all the work they do to lend others a hand.

Mark from St. Mary's Hospital has been trying to find a bed for Jesse Burgess which is me of course. Is there one available? I am homeless and living in my car.

St. Martin de Porres Residence is for homeless men, we have a sister facility, St. Catherine's of Siena at 2 Central Avenue where we provide shelter for homeless women.
You will need to contact Brother Richard between 9AM-4PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday to discuss this.
Saint Martin's and Saint Catherine's work on a referral based system from a case worker or counselor--having familiarity with your situation and can vouch you have a plan in place to end homelessness. As already noted both facilities are for adults only, however Hope Haven does accept families.
We work on a referral process. You need to be referred by a case manager, counselor, or someone who is working with you. For more info call 786-4690 after 4pm.
