If you're experienced, let them know. They'll let you go self-guided and on a more challenging horse. The horses they keep for more experienced riders seem to like to go fast and some have obnoxious manners. Which is not necessarily the most fun either. But I had a good time, I just had to keep the horse under control because my partner and kid were riding slowly behind.
I believe if you like horses you'll like it no matter how experienced you are, it is relaxing and enjoyable to me.
They have a nearby park you can ride trails through.
