Amazing place! If you have never rode before it's great cause you can go with a guide and they will take great care of you and if you've already ridden before you can go out alone or a guide can just help push out the horses and the very beginning and then go back. The horses are so friendly and loving and cute that you would have to come down and meet them for yourself to really understand what a great place this is.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3hr ride today on Knox! The trail is absolutely beautiful with a lot of shade. I came seeking solitude, and this is one of the few places that they will let you ride without a guide (after about the first half hour). Many of the horses are rescues, and mine did need extra patience, but she was perfect for me. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. On my way back, I realized that the saddlebag with my keys and phone had fallen off somewhere near the end of the trail. It was near the end of the day, and she had to ride out and back to find it for me (about 11/2 hours total). While waiting, I got to groom Knox. Thank you for a wonderful day! I really hope to return again soon!

Just had my daughters 10th birthday party there. We went horseback riding and had a party room for 3 hours. We had the party room to ourselves which was nice. The room was a little um let's say rustic. Lol 😆 but it worked and we all hard a great time.

1st time visiting Turkey Creek stables but I enjoyed it. I will visit again next time I'm in Florida. Our guide, Sam, was knowledgeable and patient.

Yes we do! Our guides are optional although we do recommend one if it’s a groups first time riding with us just to get familiar with the trails and the horses.
I have been twice now, both times my 7 year old rode her own horse solo. My last trip my 5 year old rode solo. Neither of my kids had ever ridden a horse before Turkey Creek Stables. We had a great time.

It really doesn't hurt to call ahead, especially if you have a big group
If you're experienced, let them know. They'll let you go self-guided and on a more challenging horse. The horses they keep for more experienced riders seem to like to go fast and some have obnoxious manners. Which is not necessarily the most fun either. But I had a good time, I just had to keep the horse under control because my partner and kid were riding slowly behind.
