No they cannot, minors cannot be in the store without an adult let alone buy any living animal.
Im 16, bought me a snake :/
I don't know about everyone else but I've been buying animals from pet stores since I was 15 including dogs and cats but I've also been living on my own since I was 15 so if you want an animal and you're responsible enough to take care of it and have the means to support it don't get discourage by what other people say give it a shot all they can do is tell you no what works for some don't always work for others and what works for others don't always work for some good luck hope you get your dog
REALLY?¿ No & No. . . 1) Minors have to be accompanied by an Adult go in this store. 2) the Law does not permit Minors to enter into ANY Contract as a Primary Purchaser. PLUS, If you think about it, again think about it, there would be a lot more homeless dogs if minors were permitted to purchase a dog, even if an adult co-signed! Take some time to shop with your minor and educate them on the responsibility that comes with purchasing a pet. Consider starting with a Homeless shelter before heavily investing in something that might get loose, lost, or a loss of interest (care) occurs by the Minor. It'll be easier to re-adopt out expense wise.
