Where could one buy a chinchilla , I couldnt see the answer to the other one

Some PetSmart stores have chinchillas, though I wouldn't expect the Port Charlotte store. Their website says they sell them for $150. PC says they're out of stock.

Try looking on Craigslist. Some petstores will have them, but rarely.

You have to get one from a breeder. Chinchillas are no longer sold in chain stores.
