If my ballpython is eating small rats. How often can I go with out feeding him ? I know a week is ideal when they are babies and eating mice. Is every two weeks okay ?

How old is ur ball python? They say to feed them weekly til they r a year old. An then after that u can do every week or 2 weeks just depends on how fast u want them to grow. If u r doing every 2 weeks then make sure the rat is big enough to hold ur snake for that long.

Allissia... to answer your questions, I'm getting the answers you need through my husband. He knows all about Snakes and Rats/Mice. 1. Depends on if it's shedding or not he doesn't feed while they're shedding, also the size and the age 2. Overfeeding isn't ok due to getting them fat/over weight.I'd prefer not to feed them live food. Once a week is ok to feed them babies.

I don't have any background in snakes. I'd call the store & ask.
