Please trust me when I ask you to ignore the negative reviews because based on my experience, it could not be further from the truth. I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about this emergency vet clinic!! Yesterday our golden retriever was lethargic, having trouble standing and had pale gums. We called our normal vet along with 5 other vets, none of which would make time for us to come in. We walked it right at 6 PM to VEC and they immediately found us a room, brought our golden back and diagnosed him within 15-20 minutes. Our golden had a life threatening internal bleed due to a tumor rupture on his spleen. Dr. Brotherson was kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to our situation. She provided us with the facts regarding our dogs situation but also was incredibly empathetic and walked us through the emergency surgery he needed. She spent extra time making sure I understood what was happening and I can’t put into words how kind she was. Even though it was midnight, the clinic called us as our dog went into surgery and immediately after they finished to provide us with detailed update. I also can’t begin to express how wonderful Shay is. She provided updates through the night and was SO kind, caring and concerned. The employees at this clinic GENUINELY care and love your dogs like their own. My husband and I can’t stop raving about how wonderful they were (kinder than our own normal vet!). Truly after a few of the scariest hours, our sweet boy got the surgery he needed and he is on his road to recovery. I cannot put into words how appreciative I am of the doctors who saved his life and how thankful I am for the incredibly wonderful staff. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

Our dogs health was declining very quickly so we had to make the very tough choice to end his suffering and pain and put him to sleep. The staff there was extremely compassionate and understanding. They gave you all the time you needed with your last moments with your loving fur baby. The doctor was even petting our dog with us as he passed. Thank you so much for being so understanding and patient.

Took my cat here after she was attacked by a dog. They were able to get her back right away and came in to explain everything they had done and went over the treatment plan in excellent detail. They were kind and answered all our questions with patience. They never made us feel bad for being shaken up. We were grateful to have them in the middle of the night, and the staff members even came in and told us how sweet our cat was and how much they loved her! They treated her like their own and you can't put a price on that. Thank you so much for everything you do!
