Is there any recommendations to prevent a balled python from striking when being picked up out of a cave? Will he always be this agressive or cranky when being woken up? Ive had him for a month now

The more you hand me him the less aggressive he will be.

You can wave one hand in front of him and grab him with the other while he's distracted by your other hand or gently pin behind head with grab pole. Some snakes are just cranky snakes but I would give it a couple more months to get use to you.

Hes good after i get him out of cage an handling .. doesnt strike. Its just picking him up after waking him from hiding spot, thats when he tends to strike. But thanx for the advice
