I have never seen anything that says you can't park there. I know that Walmart in Newport has signs that say no overnight parking. There's public parking and I think it's on 3rd St. You have to turn right immediately after you see a bowling alley on the right side of the street. You can barely see the street and it's easy to miss. It's north of on Highway 101. Turn right at the intersection where the factory outlets are. I hope you can find it. It's at the bottom of the hill.
The employees do check the lot so not sure if they would tow you or not.
I don't think anyone would notice. I'd park there. Very visible so safe on the corner of busy streets.
