where is the best place for me to be with no noise of people and I can start a small campfire. Just trying to find a good place in cali where I can simply be with nature. City life is giving me a headache.

This is a very dangerous time for wilderness fires. When the Santa Anas are gone, fires are extinguished and there is more humidity in the air you can make a campfire at Monte Cristo campground which is not very frequented. For now, hiking is a great way to commune with nature and unwind ;-)

The is no place in Cali right now where you should start a campfire. It's fire season. Keep the fires in the fireplace. If you want to get away go to Kern River, Lake Tahoe, Big Sur or anywhere in the Sierras. There are a million places in Cali to get away and enjoy nature. Just don't start a campfire right now.
