Rock Island , Armscor & Springfield Armory are reasonably priced 1911s. It really depends on what you're looking for. The GI models will be lowest in price because they are bare bones, nothing fancy. The finish [ie. stainless, blued etc.] will affect the price some as well as adjustable sights, grip & safety features. I decided that my needs & wants were basic so that's what I got. GI models that I've seen range from $500-$700, however you could spend anywhere from $500 up to &1500 or more.
