What do i do if i hear what sounds like water running, but can't find the source?

Hi Betty, The best thing is to locate your water meter. This is usually located in the basement of the home or in a meter pit near the road. Discontinue all water use (inside and out) and take a look at the dial on the meter. If it is spinning, and you are not using any water, you have a leak. If the dial is not moving and you still hear a water sound, and or see water present, call our Operations line (24 hours a day) at 509-466-7511
