Plenty of turnouts and ample parking at trailheads. Just a lot of twisty turns. Be prepared to brake a lot on way down from the top. Haven't visited this spot for many years

Beautiful trails this time of the year (June) with patches of snow along our 11+ mile route between Mount Spokane and Kit Carson. Bring along some snack and water so that you can enjoy some nourishment at the peak of the two peaks.

First time visit, very nice trail-especially for young kids. Didn't even see anybody until the end.

Every time I go up here, I pick a different trail. Now I've hiked all over the faces of Mt. Spokane, Beauty Mtn., and Mt. Kit Carson. Every part seems slightly different than the previous, and I love the solitude you feel if you go off-trail. I'm attaching some pics from the last couple of days.

I was up there 3 days ago 5/3/19 and it still was not open. A sign on the gate said open in 2 weeks. The note was not dated, so I don't know - 2 weeks from when???
Yes. Snow Pass is $20 for the day or $40 for the season
From the Wa State parks website: "Pets are allowed in most state parks, but must be under physical control at all times on a leash no more than eight feet long. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not permitted on designated swimming beaches"
There's a fee ($25 per/night?) and one area for camping which is up the summit road a bit.. a very nice area and great views and hiking trails (huckleberries in summer) but not a lot of sites. Running water and bathrooms. No showers. There's also a nice outdoor stage etc down a bit from the campsites. With the increase in our local population, I would go early in the day to secure a site. Not sure when the area opens but would guess not until the road to the summit is cleared of snow, which will be a while still. You can also camp at the private lodge down the main road just before entering the park.
No showers
Yes
I believe you need to have a discovery pass for the day in order to go on the mountain. The ranger station I believe sells day passes.
No, there is not. Access is restricted because a discover pass is required.
There are campsites at Mt. Spokane. https://parks.state.wa.us/549/Mount-Spokane Scroll down towards the bottom of the page. The info is there.
There's no automobile access to Quartz Mountain.
Actually you can carry in any state park you just cannot discharge the firearm without cause unless there is designated place to shoot. WAC 352-32-120 Agency filings affecting this section Firearms. (1) No person shall discharge or propel across, in, or into any upland state park area as defined in WAC 352-32-010 a firearm, except where the commission for good cause has authorized a special recreational activity upon finding that it is not inconsistent with state park use. Any violation of this section is a gross misdemeanor.
Fees vary due to if they are primitive, standard, full or partial utilities plus there is an additional fee for the required discovery pass
Dirtbikes are welcome but not on the ski resort it's self but any where that snowmobile are acceptable
