It is cheaper to go to station outside of major cities also. If it's close to your destination you will save a few dollars.
Last trip I did (last month) I paid $43, but was going to Tacoma so would be a little cheaper since going to Seattle. Also will run cheaper if you can book online instead of at the Greyhound station ( Tall Man's ) was told that from the lady working there.
You have to go to the Greyhound website. Prices vary by date and time of trip. Typically <$50
