Unfortunately, they are still closed. Those are a high priority area to take care of right now, and those should be open soon.
If you have Instagram or Facebook you can follow Redding Trail Alliance or Bureau of Land Management they have been posting updates just as of yesterday. But yes they are still closed.
No, lots of clean up to do
As of now, BLM is focusing on opening Swasey and Mule ridge areas. They have given an estimated time of 1 to 2 weeks before they will open up.
They have reopened though years later are continuing to work on it. The fire damage was severe but the clear views and new life in vegetation here is beautiful, especially during rainy seasons.
