Never asked, but I'm guessing that they mostly sell sandwiches at lunch. Staying open later costs more than they make in sales.
We are a lunch time sandwich shop during the fall-spring, then are also open for dinner in the summer. At any point we run out of rolls during the day we will close because we believe in making sure the rolls that we use are fresh everyday.
