Yes. There is a line up procedure. The lines are painted for reservations, and non reservations for each island. Just go into the terminal for tickets and schedule. Just be sure to get in the right line. Be prepared to not get on if the line is very long. Round trip for a car with driver is 30$. Passenger is 11$
Cash or card can purchase the ticket from agent out call the Rockland Ferry officer during business hours and do a reservation over the phone
If you go to vinalhaven you will need to call the terminal on the island the day before at 530am to get a line number to get your vehicle off the island. I'm not sure how the setup is on North Haven
